Haleh Hamedifar
Haleh Hamedifar was born in 1972 in Tehran. She received her Pharm.D. degree at Tehran University of Medical Sciences and was the valedictorian of her graduating class. She then broadened her studies, earning an MBA at Linkoping University, Sweden. Currently, she is the Chief Executive Officer of CinnaGen Pharmaceutical Group, an internationally recognized corporation known for its cutting edge advancements in science and innovation in the manufacturing of biologic therapeutics.
Dr. Hamedifar has received numerous honors and awards in a vast spectrum of activities, including management and the promotion of quality control and quality assurance processes, which have resulted in noted advancements in the pharmaceutical industry. She has served as CEO for 20 years, during which time she has promoted CinnaGen from a diagnostic manufacturer to a global biopharmaceutical company. As a result, its sales have increased exponentially. With her efforts, her company has broken through highly regulated markets in which no other Iranian company has managed to have a presence, and also has closed out-licensing and technology transfer deals for the first time in the history of Iran.
